Obituary for Darlene K. McGonigle
Darlene K. McGonigle, 82, of Whitehall, went to be with the Lord after battling a variety of health issues on Sunday September 17, 2023 at her residence in Fellowship Manor. She was the wife of the late William A. McGonigle. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Crouthamel) Miller.
Her passion in life was to help others. She lived life to the fullest, enjoying many journeys and adventures with friends and family. Above all, her family was most important. She loved watching her grandson, Ryan, play sports and attain many academic achievements.
Surviving are her son Rock A. McGonigle; grandson Ryan A. McGonigle; godson James Fisher; brother Danny; sister-in-law Judy as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son William McGonigle Jr., sisters Arlette, Carol and Shirley and longtime companion Lee.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Hokendauqua Park and Playground Association, PO Box 84, Whitehall, PA 18052.
