Obituary for Darlene M. Steiner
Darlene M. Steiner, 68 years, of Catasauqua, died Thursday April 20th 2017. She was the wife of Jerry Steiner, celebrating 47 years of marriage in January. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Wilma (Ring) Bryan of Whitehall and the late Harold M. Bryan.
She was employed by the Catasauqua Area School District in the cafeteria for 25 years. She was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church of N. Catasauqua.
A loving wife, mom and grandmother, she enjoyed bicycling, walking, hanging out at the pool with her grandchildren, island hopping and spending Friday nights enjoying tea with her family.
Survivors include her husband and mother, son Brad and wife Jamie Steiner of Coplay, daughter Kimberly Steiner at home, sisters Sheila Wieder, Kathy Moyer, and Linda Lynn, brothers Thomas Whitemaine “Whip” and Keith Bryan, and grandchildren Madeline, Aubrey, Brett and Evan and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 25th, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church 1229 3rd St. N. Catasauqua, PA 18032. Her viewing will be on Tuesday from 8:30-10:00AM in the church. BRUBAKER FUNERAL HOME 234 WALNUT ST. CATASAUQUA, PA 18032 is in charge of arrangements.
