Obituary for David A. Leese
David A. Leese, 60, of Whitehall, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was married to Patricia (Kerak) Lesser for 40 years. Born in Hanover, York County, PA, he was the son of Bernadette (Hemler) Leese of Hanover and the late Dean Leese. An artist and commercial designer, he was the owner of David Leese Studio, Whitehall for 30 years. He enjoyed coaching the St. Elizabeth CYO Basketball and Softball team as well as the Tri-Boro Soccer Team and the Lehigh Valley Angels Softball. Survivors, Wife; mother, daughter, Kristin Leese of Philadelphia; sisters, Colleen Biasco, Deborah and Cindy Leese, Donna Marcionette. He was predeceased by a daughter, Nichole and a son, Shane. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m.,Friday, May 23, 2014, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall. A viewing will precede the Mass in the church from 9 to 10:00 a.m. Contributions: In lieu of flowers to St. Elizabeth School c/o the Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037.
