Obituary for David L. Coken
David L. Coken, 66 of Catasauqua died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at his residence. He was married to Jane R. (Bartholomew) Coken for 43 years Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late William T. Coken and Elizabeth (Gruver)Coken Grynaviski. David was a dedicated and hard worker at the Liberty Recycling Center of Allentown where he was employed for 14 years and working at present as a supervisor. He was a U.S.Navy veteran and a member of the VFW 2124 allentown. Surviving with his wife are two daughters Michelle R. Muthard of Catasauqua and Gayle S. Kratter of California. Three brothers; Daniel, John, and Patrick Balf, and one sister Jaclyn Oberduster. Two grandchildren, Leiloni and Nichole Muthard. Two great-grandchildren; Kacey and Kylie. David was preceded in death by a son Michael, Brother William and step brother James Balf. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call 9:00am until 10:00am Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the family c/o the funeral home.
