David was a 1972 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He went on to achieve his bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and his master’s degree from Lehigh University. He worked for many banks during his working career. Most recently he was employed at First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union as a commercial loan officer before his retirement.
David was a member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Coplay. He was extremely active in his fitness and loved to run, bike, golf, and exercise. He enjoyed driving around in his BMW. David always wanted to stay up on the latest electronics and enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball. He loved to talk and socialize with his buddies from Coplay, particularly on Wednesday nights at the Coplay Saengerbund where he was a member. David was previously involved in the cancer support community. What mattered most to David was his family, especially his two favorite nieces, Haley and Kayla. He was a devoted uncle who would never miss a single swim meet or field hockey game that his nieces competed in. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
David is survived by brother, Scott Yandrasitz and wife, Lisa; nieces Haley and Kayla Yandrasitz all of Coplay. Due to current restrictions, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
