Obituary for Dennis J. Nonnemacher
Dennis J. Nonnemacher, 74, of Whitehall died on January 30, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clarence W. Nonnemacher and Betty L. (Schubert) Nonnemacher. He was the husband of Kristina M. (Boyer) Nonnemacher with whom he shared 34 years of marriage.
Dennis served proudly in the U.S. Airforce during Vietnam and was stationed in Korea. He was a jet mechanic and was proud that his name was on a fighter jet. He was formally employed by Phoenix Forge and Metal Tech where he worked as a talented machinist and toolmaker. He later retired as a truck driver for Contractors Equipment Company.
He was a lifetime member of the West Catty Firehall. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Kristina M. (Boyer) Nonnemacher, son, Dennis J. Nonnemacher II; sister, Lori and husband William Serra; grandchildren, Colby J. Braker and Hunter P. Bucha and Kylie D. Braker and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Tammie Lynn Nonnemacher.
A memorial service will be held at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA. 18032 on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is entrusted with arrangements.
