Obituary for Dennis L. Hicks, Sr.
Dennis L. Hicks, Sr., 72, of Catasauqua, passed away on December 21, 2019. Born in Allentown, on August 18, 1947, he was the son of the late Benjamin R. and Emma (Minnich) Hicks.
Dennis was a 1966 graduate of Whitehall High School and spent his working years as a hot trimmer at the Phoenix Forge in Catasauqua. He was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran who honorably served during the Vietnam War.
Dennis is survived by sons, Dennis L. Hicks, Jr., and wife, Shelly K., and Eric M. Hicks and wife, Kathy M.; stepchildren, Mark, Andy, and Ann Schulz; grandchildren, Toni Frankenfield, Caitlyn, Madison and Taylor Hicks, and Megan Schulz; and great-grandchildren, Casen Simmons, and Carter Frankenfield. He is also survived by sisters, Francis Reppert, Kathy Kubinsky, and Patricia Bernard Klotz.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in Dennis’ memory to a veteran charity of your choice c/o the funeral home.
