Obituary for Diane G. Millen
Diane G. Millen, 76, of Whitehall, died Saturday October 14, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Millen who passed in 2005. Born in Hokendauqua, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. Sr., and Marie G. (Smith) Newhard.
After graduating from Whitehall High School, Diane began working as a deputy with the Recorder of Deeds office for Lehigh County. She also enjoyed her jobs with Kohl's and Hess's Department Store. Diane was a lifelong and active member of St. John's UCC Mickleys Church in Whitehall where she helped as the treasurer for the church cemetery.
Above all she was a beloved and generous mother, grandmother, and sister. She was kindhearted, but tough and always willing to help. Diane will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her son Justin Millen and wife Jamie; sister Janice Krallis; brother Richard Newhard and wife Cheryl; grandchildren Leeya, Olivia, Julian Millen and Madden Marencik; sister-in-law Patricia Newhard and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Charles A. Jr., and brother-in-law Demetrio Krallis.
Her viewing will be from 10am-11am Friday, October 20, 2023, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, 18037. Services to be held at the funeral home at 11am Friday. Interment to follow at St. John's UCC Mickleys Cemetery in Whitehall. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brubakerfuneralhome.com.
