Obituary for Dolores A. Mizur
Dolores A. Mizur, 90, formerly of North Catasauqua, died Sunday November 14, 2021, at Phoebe Home in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Andrew M. Mizur. Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Anna (Shimkanon) Piper.
Dolores was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church and the former St. Lawrence the Martyr of North Catasauqua. She worked for many years as a stenographer in the steno pool for Mack Trucks.
Dolores enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her rescue dogs.
Surviving are her sons Richard Mizur and wife Nancy, David Mizur and wife Ann, and Michael Mizur; granddaughters Cyndee and Angela; great grandchildren Chelsea and Dustin; nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sisters Carol Ann Piper and Jane Kratzer and brother Donald Piper.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. Her viewing will be from 10-11am Thursday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in North Catasauqua. Memorial contributions may be made to www.tailsofvalor.org.
