Obituary for Dolores "Dolly" E. Neupauer
Dolores E. “Dolly” (Hutnick) Neupauer, 88, of Whitehall, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Heather Glen Senior Living. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Neupauer for 57 years before his passing in December of 2013. Born in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary (Kazimir) Hutnick.
Dolly was a 1952 graduate of Whitehall High School where she served as a class officer. She worked as a service representative at the former Bell Telephone in Allentown where she made lifelong friends. She kept the same lunch date with the ladies of Bell Telephone each month for over 50 years. Dolly also worked as a unit leader for Erie Insurance for over 15 years before her retirement. She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. Dolly served as financial secretary and president of 1st Catholic Slovak Ladies Association Sr. Life Branch #484. Above all, Dolly was a devoted mother and caring grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She will be lovingly remembered by children, Anne Marie wife of Bruce Bachman, Susan wife of Robert Martucci, Michael Neupauer and his wife Robyn, John Neupauer and his wife Wendy, Paul Neupauer and his wife Holly; grandchildren, Christopher, Dana, and Emily Bachman, Megan wife of Ian Quier, Benjamin, Lily, Lauren, and Aaron Neupauer; and sister, Jean Strohl. She was predeceased by her brothers Patrick and Andrew Hutnick and sisters Elaine Hutnick, Helen Galgon, and Mary Gilstrap.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 30, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 4456 Main Street, Whitehall. Friends and family may call from 9:30-11:00a.m, Thursday in the church. Interment will follow service at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., Coplay is entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dolly’s memory to Holy Trinity Catholic Church at the above address.
