Obituaries
Donald R Deibert, 95 of Allentown PA, passed away in his home, with his children by his side on March 20, 2025. He was the loving husband of Marilyn (Ginther) Deibert for 66 years before her passing in 2018.
Donald was a 1947 graduate of Catasauqua High School and a 1952 graduate of Moravian College. He was a three-sport athlete and quarterback of the football team at both schools. He served as Sergeant in the Korean War 1952-1954.
Through the years, he worked at Lehigh Cement, Alpha Cement and lastly Independent Cement Co in Sales, Marketing and Regional Management.
He is survived by children: Gary Deibert (Dayana), Dale Deibert, Kathy Deibert Shupp (Richard) and Karen Deibert, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn, Parents: Albert & Rhoda (Briggs) Deibert, and brothers Robert Deibert and William Deibert.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Brubaker Funeral Home Inc, 234 Walnut St, Catasauqua PA. Public visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 in the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Whitehall.
