Donald R. Setzer, 86, of N. Catasauqua, passed away on February 17, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg. Born in Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late William and Hattie (Fish) Setzer. He was the husband of Susan D. (Rissmiller) Setzer with whom he shared 37 years of marriage.
After high school, Donald served honorably in the U.S. Marines. He was a faithful parishioner at Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua. Donald was a Real Estate Appraiser for Ray Geiger Real Estate for many years before working for himself. He loved to fish and enjoyed deep sea fishing and making trips to Canada.
Above all he loved his family and two dogs, Sophie and Lucy most. He will be deeply missed who all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Susan, son Michael Dorney and wife Sunita, daughters Tracy Stauffer and Karen Keifer, sister Frances Butts, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings Gertrude, Dorothy, Albert, Kenneth, Martin and Leroy.
