Obituary for Donna P. Hafer
Donna P. Hafer, 69 years, of Whitehall, passed away on Monday, February 19th, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the wife of Jack Hafer. They would have celebrated 43 years of marriage April 12th, of 2018. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Jean (Miller) Piff.
Donna worked in various positions at Stroh Brewery including tour guide, switchboard operator and in the mailroom. She also worked as a teacher’s assistant at Parkland School district from 2001-2009 when she retired. She loved going to Disney World and enjoyed decorating for holidays, making candy and crafts.
Surviving along with her husband Jack is her daughter Tracey Hafer, her granddaughters Gabrielle & Hillary Herczeg, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Sally A. Piff.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7pm on Wednesday February 21st, 2018 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. There will be a calling hour from 6-7pm on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Lymphoma Society or to St. Luke’s Hospice c/o the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brubakerfuneralhome.com.
