Obituary for Doris O. Tameler
Doris O. Tameler 80 years of Catasauqua died Monday March 17, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Samuel F. Tameler and they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary February 15, 2008. Born in Schoenersville she was the daughter of the late Raymond I. and Eva E. (Buss) Miller. Doris enjoyed being a very active member of her church St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran of Catasauqua and was a member of the Catasauqua Women’s Club and the Catasauqua Garden Club. Surviving with her husband are daughter Janet wife of John Corello of Catasauqua, sons Richard husband of Jeannie (McCoy) Tameler of Ronan, Montana, Robert husband of Jeanna Tameler of Arlee, Montana. One brother Sterling Miller of Bethlehem, sister in laws Hilda Tameler, Lorraine wife of Norman Reitz, Cecilia Briggs and brother in law Karl husband of Gail Tameler. Eight grandchildren Suzanne, Megan and her husband Marlin Lewis, Whitney, Samantha, and Zachary Tameler, Michael, Daniel and Stephen Corello and great granddaughter Elaina Lewis. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday March 22, 2008 in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 417 Howertown Road Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 9:30am until 11:00am in the church. Memorial contributions may be made payable to the church.
