Obituary for Dorothy P. Spengler
Dorothy P. (Pinter) Spengler passed away peacefully with her daughter Holly Spengler by her side on December 20, 2021 at the age of 94. She was the wife of George H. Spengler who passed away in January 2013. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Fanny (Gombocz) Pinter.

Dorothy was a graduate of Liberty High School and went on to work at Bell Laboratories for many years before her retirement. Dot, Dottie or Nana Dot (as family and friends lovingly called her) had a smile and a genuine belly laugh that made us all smile. We knew her best as a steadfast mother and devoted family caregiver. She was also an astrology hobbyist, Musikfest fan and avid bus trip traveler with her daughter Holly.

Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by Daughters Holly Spengler of Allentown; Connie Krum and husband Jonathan of Rockville, MD; grandchildren, Clayton Krum and wife Sarah; Katie Krum and husband Harry Ross and great-grandchildren Clara Krum, Gracie Krum, Cole Krum and Crosby Krum Ross; and Brother John and wife Helen.

Memorial services will be held and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Family Pillars Hospice 3910 Adler Place Suite Bethlehem, PA 18017. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., Catasauqua is entrusted with arrangements. .

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the dedicated staff at Whitehall Manor in Whitehall and Family Pillars Hospice for their care and compassion.
