Obituary for Douglas H. Rowland
Douglas H. Rowland, 82, of Whitehall, died Sunday January 7, 2024, at Arden Court in Allentown. Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late John D. And Wanda (Nachisty) Rowland.
Doug worked for 34 years as a cutter for the former Cross Country Clothes. He then worked for Aldridge Chemical in Northampton for 11 years, before retiring. Doug was a member of the Catty Senior Club. He was an avid model train and locomotive enthusiast and enjoyed having a “putz” or train layout in his home.
Doug is survived by his daughters, Susan Sell and husband Ronald, Terri Greaser and husband Jason, son Michael Rowland and wife Kristine, companion Judy Paine, brother John P. Rowland and wife Kathy, sister Dolores Billera and husband Joseph, grandchildren Lindsey and husband Cole Neff, Jacob Sell, Andrew and Emily Rowland, Kyra and Logan Greaser, and nieces and nephews.
His viewing will be from 10-11a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA. 18032. His service will be held at 11a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
