Obituaries
Earl K. Daney, of Bath, passed away on October 13, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. He was the husband of the late Linda F. Daney with whom he celebrated 44 years of marriage this past April. Born in Lower Nazareth Twp., he was the son of the late Warren Eugene Clarence Daney and Emily Mae (Bauder) Daney.
He was a 1960 graduate of Nazareth Area Senior High School. Earl served honorably in the U.S. Airforce during the Vietnam war. He achieved the rank of Master Sergeant E7 and served 21 years earning a Bronze Star. Earl was a postal worker for the U.S. Postal Service retiring in 2008 after 28 years of service. He loved to frequent casinos and loved spending quality time with his family. Earl was a member of Eckley E. Patch Post #470 in Bath where he enjoyed playing in various bowling leagues. He was known as “10 Pin Earl” to his teammates at the Bath Legion Lanes. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Earl is survived by his brother-in-law, Donald Hill and wife, Deborah of Hokendauqua, and niece, Ashley Hill, and fiancé, Clinton of Slatington.
