Obituary for Earl W. Spengler
Earl W. Spengler, 89, of Catasauqua, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Earl H. Spengler and Elsie (Wagner) Spengler.
He was the husband of Joanne R. (Seifert) Spengler with whom he shared 68 years of marriage in May.
Earl served honorably in the US Army and was stationed in Iceland. Earl was a member of the former St. Paul’s church and most recently Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Catasauqua. He was a printer for the Morning Call newspaper for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne R. Spengler; sons; Matthew E. Spengler and wife Sima; and Thomas A. Spengler; grandchildren, Elena, Jacquelyn and Jonathan Spengler.
Services will be private. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 4th St, Catasauqua, PA 18032
