Obituary for Edmund "BUD" William Charles Kratzer
Edmund “BUD” William Charles Kratzer, 40, of Allentown, formerly of Catasauqua, died peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Franklin B. Schlegel and Kathy (Kratzer) Hinkle. Bud was a 1999 graduate of Catasauqua High School and most recently happily employed at Burger King.

He was a seasoned world traveler and loved his trips to Maine, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Las Vegas, Colorado and many other places both here and abroad. In 2017 he gave his life to Jesus Christ and had been attending the Race Street Baptist Church in Catasauqua.

Bud was known for his smile. He was “Mr. Popularity.” Bud was a loving son, father and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving along with his parents are his daughters Selena Lucille and Makenzie Aubrey Kratzer; brothers Fred ‘JR’ Williams, III and Travis Guy Kratzer Williams. He was preceded in death by his cherished Nana and Pop Lucille and Edmund Kratzer and best friends Larry Buss and Richard Peltz.

His viewing will be held 6-8pm Monday March 8th, 2021 at the Race Street Baptist Church, 610 Race St. Catasauqua, PA 18032.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in his name payable to the funeral home to offset expenses. Contributions may be sent to Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua Pa, 18032.
