Obituary for Edmund O. Long
Edmund O. Long 91 years of Catasauqua died Saturday October 1, 2005 in Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Alma (Leiby) Long. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late John and Cecilia Long Mr. Long was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church of Whitehall. He owned an operated Edmund O. Long Linoleum and Tile Co. in Whitehall for over 40 years before retiring. Surviving are; Daughter - Barbara Long of Catasauqua Sister - Ella wife of John Federinitz of Allentown Grandson - Edmund A. Long of Catasauqua Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday in the church. Call 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Wednesday in the church. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, St. Lukes VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit or the Lehigh County SPCA c/o the funeral home. The John H. Brubaker Funeral Home of Catasauqua is in charge of arrangements.
