Obituary for Edward A. Thomas
Edward A. Thomas, 77, of Coplay, passed away July 18, 2016 at home. Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late John J. and Rose (Gober) Thomas Sr. He was employed by A&B Meats and later retired from Beatrice Foods, both of Allentown. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Coplay. An avid bowler, he was a member of the American Club of Coplay, the Coplay Saengerbund, the West Coplay Maennerchor. Ed enjoyed fishing at Ranger Lake. Survivors: Daughter, Susan Thomas of Point Pleasant, NJ; son, Edward A. Thomas Jr. of Coplay; grandchildren: Hunter Thomas, Conner Lucero; brothers, John Jr., Alfred, Joseph, all of Coplay; sisters, Rose wife of Frank Kroboth of Coplay; Anna Giblin of New York City; Sue wife of Donald Reph of Whitehall; Theresa wife of John Skrapits of Northampton; ex-wife, Kathleen (Miller) Thomas. Friends and family may call 9:30-10:30 a.m., Friday, July 22, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Msgr. John J.
