Obituary for Edward Kraynik
Edward Kraynik, 83, of Washington Twp., formerly of Coplay, passed peacefully at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was married to Theresa M. (Tanzos) for 57 years. Born in Stiles, he was the son of the late Andrew and Anna (Martincek) Kraynik. A Korean War veteran, he was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. A graduate of Whitehall High School, he attended Penn State University. With over 40 years of service, he retired as section manager at Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #528, Allentown. He was a member of Coplay Saengerbund and volunteered in Coplay Sports. Ed was an avid sports enthusiast. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Coplay. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Karen Panik of Schnecksville; grandchildren, Emily, Jacob and Sarah. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lauren; and siblings, John, Helen Lesser, Andrew Jr., Ann Wescoe, Joseph. Services: Private. Arrangements, Robert A.
