Obituary for Edward S. Kubinsky
Edward S. Kubinsky Sr., 67, husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully at his home of 40 years in Catasauqua, Pa. on the evening of Monday May 23rd, 2011 surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren. Born in Allentown, Pa. to the late Michael and Rose (Stupak) Kubinsky. Edward was the 3rd child of 4 in his family. Edward was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and joined the army shortly thereafter. Edward proudly served his country in Vietnam as an officer and was honorably discharged in 1967. Edward loyally worked for Xperia Solutions, Inc. (formerly Online Data Systems) for the past 25 years. Edward was an avid bowler for most of his life and member of the Coplay Saengerbund. He loved watching and following the Phillies, playing poker, making regular visits to donate at the casinos and simply enjoying quality time spent with his entire family and friends. He will always be loved, fondly remembered and greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Edward is survived by his wife Judith C. (Krause) Kubinsky, son Edward S. Kubinsky Jr. and wife Andrea, daughter Laurie S. (Kubinsky) Mink and husband Al, granddaughter Ruth A. Kubinsky and grandsons Joshua J. Kubinsky and Stanley Edward Mink. Edward is also survived by his brother Michael Kubinsky Jr. and wife Kathy, sister Rose Ann (Kubinsky) Stoudt and husband Richard, and sister Nancy (Kubinsky) Altenbach and husband Jim and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held from 7:00pm until 8:30pm Thursday evening May 26th, 2011 and 9:30am until 10:30am Friday May 27th in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. at 234 Walnut Street in Catasauqua, Pa. A traditional Roman Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 27th at 11:00am in St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church located at 1001 Second Street North Catasauqua, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made in his name payable to Lehigh Valley Hospice 17th and Chew Streets Allentown, Pa. 18104.
