Obituary for Edwin R. Kleibscheidel
Edwin R. Kleibscheidel, 80, of Emmaus died Saturday May 8th, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Ethel M. (Tremba) Kleibscheidel. Born in West Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Edwin J. and Lucy A. (Scheirer) Kleibscheidel. Edwin was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Emmaus. He was the senior supervisor of accounts payable at the home office of the Bethlehem Steel Co. for 42 years before retiring in 1990. He was a corporal in the Army serving during the Korean War from 1952-’53. Edwin served as a past master of Porter Lodge F & AM 284 in Catasauqua and recently was honored with a 50 years of service pin. He loved dogs and will be sadly missed by his beagle, Hunter. Surviving are his daughters Diane Kropf and her husband John of Alburtis, Judith Kelly of Harleysville; grandchildren Ian Kelly, Angela Kropf and Kaitlin Lehman. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, May 12th, 2010 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call from 9:30-10:30am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name, payable to Animals in Distress, P.O. Box 609, Coopersburg, PA 18036 or to the church at St. John's Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St. Emmaus, PA 18049.
