Obituary for Eleanor B. Warren
Eleanor B. Warren, 75 years of Hokendauqua died Friday October 2, 2009 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Raymond G. “Sonny” Warren Sr. who died June 13, 2006. They celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary August 2, 2005. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Claude and Anna (Delong) Buchman. Eleanor worked for D & D Shirt Co. of Northampton for over 30 years before retiring. She was the longest active member of the Northampton Assembly of God having joined in 1959. Surviving are sons Raymond G. Warren Jr. husband of Linda (Crouthamel) Warren of Whitehall, George husband of Janis (Serfass) Warren of Berwick,Pa., daughter Roxann Frey and her fiancé John Szerencits of Northampton. Grandchildren Christopher Frey, Raymond Warren III, Mark Frey, Lee Warren, Teresa Warren, Stephanie Warren, Tiffany Frey, Kimberly (Warren) Goodman wife of Kenneth Goodman and great grandchildren Trevor Fowler and Ethan Frey. Sisters Janet wife of James Ragan of Loganton, Pa., Nancy wife of Phaon Feist of Whitehall, Geraldine wife of Earl Stein of Macungie and brothers Theodore husband of Frances Buchman and Eugene Buchman all of Catasauqua. She was preceded in death by brother Claude and sister Barbara. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday October 8 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua being officiated by Rev. Daniel Lundmark who will also read a message sent by Rev. Gerald Olshevski founder and pioneer pastor of the Northampton Assembly of God. Viewing times will be 7:00pm to 8:30pm Wednesday and 10:00am until 11:00am Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. Memorial contributions may be give to the Northampton Assembly of God 3449 Cherryville Road Northampton, Pa. 18067.
