Obituary for Elizabeth "Betty" A. Nederostek
Elizabeth “Betty” A. Nederostek, 80 years, died Wednesday May 11th, 2016 at her residence at Manor Care West in Allentown. She was the wife of Richard “Lefty” F. Nederostek of Allentown and would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this coming October. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edwin H. and Anna E. (Molchany) Druckenmiller.
Betty was a long time member of St. Mary’s Church of the Annunciation B.V.M. in Catasauqua and the St. Andrew’s Young at Hearts. Betty worked as a bookkeeper for many years for a variety of businesses in the Lehigh Valley before retiring. She enjoyed spending time at the casinos and crocheting.
Surviving along with her husband Richard are her children, daughter Rita Schaejbe, son Jeffrey Nederostek and wife Tamara; daughter Sharon Pammer and husband Scott; son Richard Nederostek; sister Christine Howells; brother John Druckenmiller and wife Marge; 9 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty was preceded in death by her brother Edwin Druckenmiller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Friday, May 13th, 2016 at St. Mary’s Church, 122 W. Union St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. There will be a calling period from 9-10am at the church on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made in her name, payable to the church.
