Obituary for Elizabeth Dunbar
Elizabeth Dunbar, 99 years formerly of Hokendauqua died Wednesday March 11, 2015 in Valley Manor Nursing Home in Coopersburg. She was the widow of the late John F. “Doc” Dunbar. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Tony A. and Lenna (Morz) George. Elizabeth’s family was her life and she was a hard worker having been employed as a sorter by the former Sheftel Textiles for many years before retiring. Surviving are daughters Diane wife of Paul Hudak, Joan wife of Gary Blazinsky, son William Hodge and his wife Mary Jane, sister Amelia Bowaskiewich, granddaughters Lisa wife of David Hansbury, Lori Blazinsky, and Tracey Hodge; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Kenny and Isaac and sisters Mary and Helen. Funeral services will be officiated by Father Eric Gruber at 11:30 am Saturday March 14 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Her viewing will be from 10:30 until 11:30 am in the funeral home.
