Obituary for Elizabeth M Haines
Elizabeth M. Haines, 89, died Thursday August 2, 2007 at Phoebe Richlandtown Health Center. She was the widow of James E. Haines. Born in Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Sarah M. (Wray) Wieand. She was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pennsburg. Elizabeth was also very active in the Upper Bucks Senior Citizens Center. Surviving is a son, James A. Haines and his wife Peg of East Greenville, PA, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Joseph and Donald Wieand. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2007 at the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church, 81 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA 18073 or to Phoebe Richlandtown Health Center, 108 S. Main St. Richlandtown, PA, 18955.
