Obituary for Elizabeth R. Leabold
Elizabeth R. Leabold, 84 of Whitehall, formerly of East Catasauqua, died Tuesday January 15, 2008 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Elmer Leabold Sr. Born in Pennsville, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Minnie (Smith) Bilheimer. Elizabeth was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Whitehall. She worked for 32 years in the textiles industry as a sewing machine operator before retiring. Surviving are a son Elmer E. Jr with whom she resided; daughter Barbara and her husband George Newhard of Florida; brother Kenneth Bilheimer of Walnutport, Harry Grammes of Hellertown; sisters Hilda Phillips of Burwick, Esther Iouanna; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter Betty J. Heimbach. Services will be held 11am Saturday January 19th, 2008 at the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032.
