Obituary for Elsie M. Haines
Elsie M. Haines 92 formerly of Catasauqua died Wednesday November 15, 2006 in the Phoebe Home of Allentown. She was the widow of the late Franklin H. Haines. Born in Catasauqua she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (Donald) Smith. She was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church of Whitehall. Elsie had worked as a registered nurse for the Allentown Hospital for many years before retiring. With her husband Franklin and sister in law Elizabeth and brother in law Jim she traveled across the United States fourteen times. Surviving are; Sister in Law - Elizabeth Haines of E.Greenville Nieces and Nephews and Caregiver Roger Scheirer of Catasauqua. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday November 20, 2006 in the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 1:00pm until 2:00pm Monday.
