Emma worked as a seamstress for local garment mills for over 46 years before her retirement. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and a member of Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church of Bethlehem. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by daughter, Jo Ann, wife of Richard Moyer of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Jennifer, wife of David Gesell; and Christopher Moyer and wife, Sarah; great-grandchildren, Emma and Charlotte Gesell and Nathan and Abigail Moyer; and sister, Elsie, wife of Fritz Miller of Bethlehem. She is also survived by nieces, Jane Szep, Paulette Schenk, and Lisa Miller Fox; and nephew, David Miller.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Hilda Reinik and Margaret Matsco.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday September 25, 2021, at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church at 1861 Catasauqua Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Emma’s memory to the church at the above address. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., Coplay, is entrusted with arrangements.
