Obituary for Emma J. Glose
Emma J. Glose, 99 years formerly of Allentown died Tuesday April 1, 2008 at Manor Care in Bethlehem. Born in Allentown she was a daughter of the late Ervin and Clara J. (Trapp) Schweitzer. Emma was a member St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Allentown and of the United Ladies Garment Workers Union employed as a textile worker for over 60 years before retiring. Surviving are a sister Miriam E. wife of Eugene D. Kindt of Catasauqua and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Charles, Arthur, Raymond and John Schweitzer and a sister Elsie Gaugler. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, April 5 in the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 9:00am until 10:00am in the funeral home. Interment is Highland Memorial Park in Allentown. Memorial contributions may be made payable to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church 417 N. 7th Street Allentown, Pa. 18104.
