Obituary for Ernest L. Lapp
Ernest L. Lapp 85, of Catasauqua died Friday October 31, 2008 in St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Doris (Markward) Lapp of Catasauqua. Born in Northampton he was the son of the late Harry and Mary (Grim) Lapp. Ernest was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Allentown. A graduate of Whitehall High School, he retired from the Bethlehem Steel Company in 1996. He was an avid golfer. Surviving with his wife is his daughter Kristine Angelis; 2 Grandsons, Stephen and Kevin Angelis; Sisters Isabel Moll, Janet Marszales, and Joyce Kunkle and brother Chester Lapp. He was preceded in death by a sister Marion. Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is in charge of the arrangements.
