Obituary for Esther H. Illigash
Esther H. Illigash, 92, formerly of Catasauqua and Stiles, died November 18, 2016 at Whitehall Manor. She was married to the late John W. Illigash. Born in Bath, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Julia (Feirtag) Haftl. She was a seamstress for the former Cross Country Clothes, Northampton. She was member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Catasauqua. Survivors: Daughter, Sandra J. wife of David Schiffer of Whitehall; son, Jack Illigash and wife Carole of N. Whitehall Twp.; grandchildren, Jamie, Jason, Chad, Jodi, James; great-grandchildren, Logan, Faith, Erik, Rylee, Aiden, Colin, Quinn; brother, Adolph and wife Dorothy; sisters, Helen Henning and Arlene Oplinger, all of Bath. She was predeceased by a son, James P. Illigash. Services: Friends and family may call 9:30-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2016, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037 followed by a Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Scott Paradise, officiating. Interment, St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Whitehall.
