Obituary for Ethel J. Scott
Ethel J. Scott, 86, of Allentown, passed on Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. She was the widow of the late Henry Ford Scott. Ethel was employed by the former Western Electric and retired in 1951. She was a homemaker and mother. Born in Winburne, PA, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Lasko) Nudge. She was a former member of the Hungarian Lutheran Church in Winburne, PA. Surviving is a daughter, Beverly A., wife of Robert Zakos of Catasauqua, son, William H. Scott, of Allentown, with whom she resided; grandson Robert Zakos. A brother, Joseph Nudge of Harrisburg. She was preceded in death by sister Margaret and brothers Al, Peter Jr., Gus & Frankie. Surviving from a previous marriage are a daughter, Jeanette M. (Wade), wife of Steven Russell of Murfreesboro, TN; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA. The calling period will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Ethel had a great love for flowers, your floral contributions for her are greatly appreciated.
