Obituaries
Ethel M. Ringler, 85, of Northampton passed away peacefully on February 15, 2023 at Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harry L Snyder and Laura E. (Kuehner) Snyder.
Ethel was a 1955 graduate of Allentown High School. She then attended Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. She earned her LPN license from Lehigh County Community College. She was employed at the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital (St. Luke’s – Allentown) from 1969-2002.
She was a lifelong member of Catasauqua Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon. She was also in the choir and played bells. She was a caring and loving person who will be missed and loved by all who knew and loved her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Vanessa Vercusky, Lori Hoppes and son; Walter Bauman, Jr. and wife Patricia; brother, Donald Snyder; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 2 nieces. She was predeceased by her companion, Roger Scheirer.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA. 18032. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the parlor. Interment to follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Allentown.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Family Pillars Hospice c/o the funeral home. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is entrusted with the arrangements.
