Obituary for Ethel M. Rosenblatt
Ethel M. Rosenblatt, 95, of North Catasauqua passed away peacefully on July 25, 2022 at Fellowship Manor. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Gabriel and Myrtle (Herr) Gabriel.
Ethel was a graduate of Allentown Nursing School. She was a Registered Nurse at Allentown General Hospital in the Cardiac Care Unit. She previously resided and worked in Oklahoma with the Indian Service.
She was a long-time member of Salem U.C.C. in Catasauqua. Ethel enjoyed gardening and caring for her home and yard. She loved planting flowers and especially loved to travel. She was always very well dressed. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ethel will be lovingly remembered by her son, Gary Rosenblatt and wife Cindy Becker, daughter, Lisa Vecchioli and husband David, grandchildren; Nicholas, Angela and Alex Vecchioli; Kendra Mueller and Patrick Campbell; two great granddaughters and niece Sheryl Hochmiller. She was predeceased by her son, Brian P. “Rosie” Rosenblatt and one sister.
There will be a memorial service visitation on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA. 18032. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Brian S. Riedy will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment to follow service at Fairview Cemetery in Whitehall.
