Obituary for Eugene D. Kindt
Eugene D. Kindt, 93 years of Catasauqua died Friday May 4, 2012 in his residence. For 71 years he was the husband of the late Miriam E. Kindt who died September 3, 2009. Born in Hokendauqua he was the son of the late Floyd P. and Martha I. (Borger) Kindt. Eugene worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a crane operator in machine shop #2 for 44years before retiring. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Catasauqua. Surviving are daughters Marlene wife of Francis Broderick Catasauqua, Carol Ann Kindt of Catasauqua, son Eugene F. “Bud” Kindt husband of Margaret “Peg” Kindt of Catasauqua, grandchildren Sandy Broderick Verbos, Matthew Broderick, Dee Kindt, Jeff Kindt, great grandchildren Matthew Broderick Jr., Andrew Broderick, John Verbos III and great great granddaughter Lydia Dawn Broderick. He was preceded in death by sisters Emily Hallman and Grace Blay. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday May 8 in the Brubaker Funeral home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. His viewing will be 10:00am until 11:00am Tuesday in the funeral home.
