Obituary for Eugene W. Kline
Eugene W. Kline, 77, of Catasauqua, died Friday June 1, 2007 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit in Allentown. He was the husband of Georgene (Hagenbuch) Kline and they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in November 2006. Born in Bangor, he was a son of Walter B and Kathryn ( Felty ) Kline. Eugene worked for many years as owner and operator of Klines Garage in Catasauqua before retiring. He was a volunteer fireman and member of the East End Hose and Chemical Co. #1. Gene served with the 7th Army during the Korean War. Surviving with his wife Georgene are a son Frank of Catasauqua; daughter Kathleen and her husband Kenneth Faust of Catasauqua; sisters June and her husband Charles Fulton of Newtown; Romaine Fay of Allentown; 6 grandchildren. Eugene was preceded in death by a son David. Services will be held 11:00am Tuesday June 5, 2007 at the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. Call from 10:00 until 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 4th & Pine Sts. Catasauqua, 18032.
