Obituary for Evelyn M. Hoch
Evelyn M. Hoch, 95 formerly of N. Catasauqua died Monday January 2, 2017 in Westminster Village, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Sterling P. Hoch who died January 31, 1999. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late David A. and Catherine (Neubauer) McCallister.
Evelyn worked for many years as a secretary for Western Electric until retiring in 1980. She is a member of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua where she was a former deacon, elder and she sang in the choir for over 30 years.
Surviving are two sons David A. wife of Diane Hoch of Fallston, Md., Donald S. Hoch of Whitehall and grandchildren Matthew, Jennifer and great granddaughter Blake.
Family viewing and services will be private. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. The Brubaker Funeral Home of Catasauqua is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.brubakerfuneralhome.com.
