Obituary for Fay C. Hartzell
Fay C. Hartzell, 84, formerly of Coplay, passed away on January 4, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the beloved wife of 37 years of the late Dale W. Hartzell before his passing in June of 2007. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Allan “Shoey” and Una Shoemaker.
She was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church in Coplay. Fay worked as an office clerk for First National Bank of Allentown for many years.
Fay was an avid dog lover and loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by son, Chad Hartzell and wife, Kristy of Great Mills, MD; daughter, Candace, wife of Todd Harder of Whitehall; and grandchildren, Caitlin Kelly, wife of Shaun Kelly of Orefield, Alexis Hartzell, Cameron Hartzell and Tyler Harder.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Fay’s memory to Animals in distress at P.O. Box 609 5075 Limeport Pike Coopersburg, PA 18036 or Brindle Buddies Friends at PO Box 37, Kutztown, PA 19530.
