Obituary for Fern I. Schwenk
Fern I. Schwenk 73 years of Fullerton died Saturday November 3, 2007 in Sacred Heart Hospital Allentown. She was the widow of the late William C. Schwenk who died in 1990. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late James and Esther (Andreas) Beck. Fern is a long time member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton and had worked for the former International Webbing of Fullerton for over 30 years before retiring. Surviving are sons Chuck husband of Terri Schwenk of Fullerton and Guy Schwenk at home. Fern has three sisters Gladys Kalavoda, Madeline Jankovic and Bernice Beck and two grandchildren Chad and Crystal. Also surviving are mother-in-law Marian Schwenk, sister-in-law Dolores Beck and brother-in-law Gerald husband of Carolyn Schwenk. She is preceded in death by a brother Dale Beck. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday in the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 10:00am until 11:00am Wednesday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to St. John’s U.C.C. 575 Grape Street Whitehall, Pa. 18052.
