Obituary for Floyd L Hyman
Floyd L. Hyman, 78 years, of Allentown passed away on Monday June 5th, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Knetz) Hyman, celebrating 52 years of marriage last August. Born in Newark, NY, he was the son of the late Leslie and Helen (DeBuse) Hyman.
He was employed by Air Products as a chemical engineer from 1964-2001. After retirement, he worked in a part-time capacity for Air Products from 2004-2014.
Floyd was a Clarkson University graduate with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and went on to earn his Master’s degree from the University of Delaware. He was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Allentown.
He enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, son Wayne Hyman and wife Lori, daughters Karen, wife of Gary Morgan and Eileen, wife of Aaron Nyemscek, sister Carol Hyman and grandchildren Nicole, Ryan, Olivia, Matthew, Sarah and Luke.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday June 10th, 2017 at Asbury United Methodist Church 1533 Springhouse Rd, Allentown, PA 18104. A calling hour will be held from 10-11AM Saturday in the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the church or a favorite charity.
