Obituary for Frances A. Balog
Frances A. (Frederick) Balog, 91, of Northampton, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Sacred Heart Senior Living.
Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Stanley P. Frederick and Adela (Noga) Frederick.
Frances was a secretary for AT & T and later a layout operator for Lucent. She was employed for 33 years, retiring in 1993.
She was a devout Catholic. She was a lifelong member of St. Michael’s R.C.C. until it closed. She was a member of their Altar and Rosery Society. She was a current member of St. Peter R.C.C. in Coplay.
Frances held memberships for Lucent Pioneers. She served on the board and did various tasks of volunteering for them.
She was a member of Friendly Fifties in Northampton and volunteered at Sacred Heart Hospital for 11 years.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son Michael T. Balog, Jr. of Georgia.
A calling period will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut Street, Coplay, PA. from 09:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter R.C.C. located at 4 S 5th Street, Coplay PA. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Northampton.
