Obituary for Frances C. Walakovits
Frances A. Walakovits, 81, of Coplay, passed away March 9, 2016 at home. She was married to the late Edward A. Walakovits. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Louis F. and Mary (Domitrovits) Gensits. Always enjoying her work, she was a bookkeeper for the former Zeller's Furniture, Allentown and presently employed at T. J. Max, Whitehall. A graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, she was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay. Frances was an avid cook and gardener. Survivors: Son, Edward L. Walakovits and wife Joan Kneiss of Center Valley; grandsons, Kurt and Ryan Walakovits of Center Valley; brother, Louis J. Gensits and wife Elaine of Whitehall; sister, Hilda Newhard of Whitehall; sister-in-laws, Pauline Doughtery of Illinois; Mary wife of George Neupauer of Northampton, Catherine wife of Charles Rosenberg of West Chester; 11 nieces and nephews; Services: Call Sunday, March 13, 6-8:00 p.m., and Monday, March 14, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, 11:00 a.m., St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
