Obituary for Francis Babiak
Francis "Frank: Babiak, 87, formerly of Allentown, of Schnecksville, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2015. He was married to the late Mary (Yandrisovits) Babiak for 41 years. Born in Ironton, he was the son of the late Harry and Anna (Evanick)Babiak. A member of Teamsters Local #773, he was a truck driver for the former Modern Transfer for 22 years and later, Howard Sober Inc., and Kenoscha Auto Transport, Macungie. A former member of Egypt #7293, he was an army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Grouse Hall Fish and Game, Ironton. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Allentown. Survivors: Companion, Eleanor Stahley of Schnecksville, daughters, Mary wife of Thomas Young of Bath, Judith wife of Edward Schultes of Walnutport; Lucille Patrick of Lakespark, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Stella wife of George Tomasic of Ironton. Services: Friends and family may call 8:15-9:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown. Interment, Our Lady of Hungary Church, Second and Main St., Northampton. Memorial contributions to St. Francis of Assisi Church c/o the funeral home 18037.
