Obituary for Francis "Boomer" J. Hart, Jr.
Francis J. “Boomer” Hart, Jr., 81 of Northampton, passed away on October 22, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. Born in North Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Francis J. Hart, Sr., and Lillian Frickert. “Boomer” served honorably in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Catasauqua.
He loved model trains and fixing antique clocks. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his daughter, Kymberley Ballato, his sister, Sandra Smith and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Patricia Callahan.
There will be a memorial service visitation on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 4th St., Catasauqua, PA. 18032. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Brian S. Riedy will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the church. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Whitehall.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to “Pastors Discretionary Fund” c/o the church. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is entrusted with the arrangements.
