Frank Jarosch, 90, of Whitehall, died Monday September 9, 2024, at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was the husband of Hermine (Stangl) Jarosch and would have celebrated 66 years of marriage this month. Born in Reinersdorf, Austria he was the son of the late Ferdinand and Maria (Stosits) Jarosch.
Frank immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1954 where he received his engineering license and worked for the city of Winnipeg. Frank worked for over 35 years at the London Terrace Towers in New York City, retiring in 1998. Frank was the treasurer of the Brudershaft der Burgenland at Castle Harbour in Bronx, NY.
After retiring he moved to Whitehall and became a long-time member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Coplay where he enjoyed making pierogies and cooking for the church picnic. He was also a member of the Coplay Saengerbund and the Northampton Hungarian Club.
Frank leaves behind his wife Hermine, son Frank, Jr. and wife Adriane, daughter Anne and husband Benno, son Richard and wife Regina; grandchildren Eric, Christopher, Annelies, Benjamin and wife Anna, Christina and husband Chris, Erica and husband Evan, great granddaughter Adeline.
His viewing will be from 9-10am Friday September 13, 2024, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut St. Coplay PA 18037. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am at St. Peters Church, 4 S. 5th Street, Coplay, PA 18037. Interment to follow at St. Peters Cemetery.
