Obituary for Frank M. Skrapits
Frank M. Skrapits, Esq., 88, of Northampton, passed away April 23, 2016. He was married to Jeanette H. (Imp) Skrapits for 54 years. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna (Heigli)Skrapits. A WWII veteran, he was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post #454 and the American Legion Post #954. A graduate of Dickinson College and Georgetown University Law School, he was an attorney in private practice. He was a former Northampton County ADA and a borough solicitor for North Catasauqua. He was a member of the Northampton and Lehigh County Bar Associations. He was a member of Queenship of Mary R.C. Church, Northampton. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Elizabeth M. of Wilkes-Barre; sons, Frank T. and Matthew J., both of Northampton; brothers, Dr. Louis and wife Maryann of Wilmington NC, John and wife Barbara of Jim Thorpe; nieces; nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, William. Services: Viewing from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m, Queenship of Mary R.C. Church, Northampton.
