Obituary for Franklin G. Fritzinger
Franklin G. Fritzinger, 93, of North Catasauqua, died Friday December 16th, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. He was the husband of Sarah E. (Hagerman) Fritzinger of North Catasauqua, and celebrated 75 years of marriage together. Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late William F. and Sarah A.K. (Millen) Fritzinger. Franklin was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Catasauqua. He was a foreman for the former Brown Shoe Factory for many years before retiring. Surviving with his wife are his sons Franklin J. of Catasauqua, and Richard G. and wife Karen of Rochester, N.Y.; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A calling period will be from 11:00am until 12:00 noon at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. Funeral services will be begin at 12:00 noon Monday December 19th, 2011 at Salem U.C.C., 615 3rd St., Catasauqua, 18032. Memorial contributions may be made in his name made payable to Salem U.C.C. or to Lehigh Valley Hospice c/o the funeral home.
